Our Broncos Weekend motion graphic package is the animated intro to our weekly made-for-TV broadcast show that previews each week's game.

How does this represent "Excellence in Engagement"?

By altering our approach to an existing show, we saw an increase in viewership for other Broncos-focused content while also driving interactions on social media and other platforms. This helped in the shift to the more laid-back show model that we will look to continue forward with as it appeals to a younger demographic that did not engage in the past. Overall, the visual aesthetic of the show helped to draw a larger following and reinforced fan enthusiasm and discussion on team related topics and prompted chatter/debates on key matchups.

Objective

The overall goal of this package was to introduce a more laid-back feel to our traditional broadcast show while still maintaining the energy and visual quality that Broncos fans have come to expect. With the new uniform launch, we also wanted to bring in Colorado and our landscape as as a character in the design.

Strategy & Execution

We aimed to include a focus on each of our weekly matchups - helping to educate the fans before they even got into the program. Fullscreens were designed to provide hints of the upcoming game uniforms, allowing for variation from week to week in the eyes of the viewer.
