ABOUT THIS ENTRY

The 2024 Gasparilla Bowl did something no one has ever done before, a fully designed piece of art as the endzone. Themed to the pirate lore of the bowl game, the endzones became treasure maps.....with a red X which when scored they would pretend to dig up the treasure chest....which happens to be the trophy of the bowl game

How does this represent "Excellence in Engagement"?

During the day which was the first day of the college football playoff, our endzones were the most talked about item not only on social media but on sports recap shows as well. Fans, sports accounts, sports personalities and recap shows could not stop discussing the endzones

Objective

To generate a spark online for discussion of how cool the endzones are and to create a fun inperson experience for the fans and platers.

Strategy & Execution

We thought of the endzones we see at different big events. And we discussed the favorite thing to see when someone scores....a celebration... We designed this in hopes the player scoring would interact with the endzone which is what ended up happening
