ABOUT THIS ENTRY

Betr Media put together a celebration for one of the most anticipated sporting events of the decade, which was the fight between Jake Paul and Mike Tyson in Arlington, TX, on November 15, 2024. It was an exclusive, invite-only event with a variety of celebrities, athletes, and influencers, who were all there to celebrate the face of Betr, Jake Paul, after his historic boxing match.

How does this represent "Excellence in Engagement"?

Betr Media is bringing the everyday sports fan to where the action is both on and off the court, on and off the field or in and out of the ring. We are the typical fan with not so typical access so we want to make sure that those who look to us to share unique experiences from a far are able to do so in the most creative ways possible.

Objective

The core objective of this event was to not only celebrate a historical night for Betr’s Co-Founder, Jake Paul, but also to give the 65 million people a chance to be part of the festivities that followed. While the event was invite only, the cast of characters that makes up the Betr Media team was on-site to cover the event for the world to see. Humanizing larger than life figures like Jake and Logan Paul who are happy to play a game of beer pong and enjoy unique delicacies from a food truck like the rest of us.

Strategy & Execution

Betr’s strategy for the event was simple. Find a mansion in the suburbs of Dallas, TX and fill it with huge names in sports and entertainment. Then create a premium experience that also feels relatable to the everyday sports fan. What’s more common than a pool party in a backyard featuring elevated finger foods plus trending spirits and beer from a local brewery? Oh and did we mention there was a Golden Retriever named Thor there as well?

The Betr Media team ensured that the limited guest list didn’t exclude fans from witnessing what was going on behind closed doors as they documented the party from start to finish across Betr’s social media presence, including a slew of dedicated posts custom built for a handful of sponsors of the party.
