How does this represent "Excellence in Engagement"?

This series redefined what consistent, season-long content can achieve by turning a routine gameday post into an anticipated creative moment. Rather than treating engagement as a byproduct, we designed for it - prioritizing originality, cultural relevance, and variety to consistently earn fan attention across all 82 games.

By introducing a new visual identity each game, we created a sense of unpredictability that encouraged repeat interaction. Fans weren’t just consuming content - they were reacting, sharing, and returning to see what was next. The posters sparked conversation, increased saves and shares, and elevated a traditionally low-engagement content category into a standout moment on our feed.

This work sets a new benchmark by proving that high-frequency content doesn’t have to sacrifice creativity for efficiency. It challenges the industry to rethink templated approaches and instead invest in scalable creativity that builds anticipation over time.

Moving forward, this approach demonstrates how teams can transform templated content into a fan-first experience - where consistency isn’t just about showing up daily, but about delivering something worth engaging with every time.

Objective

We set out to create a series that would increase engagement on gameday content, drive anticipation across the season, and give fans a reason to return for each release. At the same time, we wanted to empower our designer to push beyond traditional brand constraints and explore new visual styles, storytelling approaches, and cultural references tied to each matchup.

A key goal was balancing consistency with creativity, maintaining a recognizable presence on our channels while allowing each piece to stand on its own as a unique, shareable work of art.

Ultimately, the objective was not just to improve performance metrics, but to elevate a standard content deliverable into a fan-first creative series that could build momentum, spark conversation, and strengthen our connection with the audience over time.

Strategy & Execution

We approached this series with a deep understanding of modern fan consumption habits - fast, visual, and driven by originality. Our graphic designer is creating 82 unique pieces, using a mix of bold, eye-catching composition, unexpected visual styles, and storytelling rooted in the opponent, city, or cultural moment. While we occasionally anchored designs in our core color palette for brand recognition, we gave ourselves flexibility to break those rules when it better served the concept - prioritizing creativity and relevance over consistency. Execution was built for social-first impact: thumb-stopping visuals, high shareability, and concepts that rewarded repeat engagement from fans. Each post became less of a routine schedule reminder and more of a collectible moment, encouraging fans to anticipate and engage. By blending design experimentation with cultural and opponent-driven narratives, we transformed a standard content series into something fans actively looked forward to.
