Our award submission centers on achieving the "Best Fan Experience" through innovative AI technology, a driving force in the NFL's creator program. MediaTrack, a cutting-edge innovative approach, has yielded quantifiable and unprecedented business growth on behalf of the NFL by delivering against fans' social content desires. Through enabling the identification of and authentic collaborations with the NFL and NFL’s teams’ beloved influencers and super fans, we've seamlessly delivered the content audiences crave. This accomplishment was made possible through the enablement of Videocite’s MediaTrack technology, marking a transformative step in enhancing fan engagement and solidifying our commitment to an unparalleled fan experience.
How does this represent “Excellence in Engagement”?
Those newfound insights served as the foundation for helping the NFL establish its creators' program, identify and collaborate with new creators and fans (ex: Frankie Lepenna), uncover new sponsorship opportunities, and further increase its brand visibility. As put by the NFL’s VP of Social Programming and Emerging Platforms: "Our collaboration with Videcoites focuses on identifying and building a network with the top influencers and creators in the world as we expand our creator programs across all social media channels. We didn't realize the full iceberg until we discovered 325 million video views from a single asset that ESPN, SportsCenter, House of Highlights, and others picked up.” Videocites' impact on Creator Networks has reverberated across other global leagues, teams, and brands, transforming the way they engage with their audiences and creators. Objective
The NFL have been using Videocites to fuel their own Creator Program. This program is aimed to collaborate with social fan-creators with the purpose of increasing brand awareness and loyalty through collaborations with multicultural content creators, and to expand the reach of the NFL content, tentpole events, and league initiatives. The unique objective of this body of work was as follows: How to leverage Videocites’ innovative AI technology to identify new content creators and super fans to accelerate brand and audience growth. Doing so was and remains mission critical for the NFL - and all other leagues, teams, brands - to remain relevant in today’s intensely competitive sports industry where everyone is vying for a finite set of users and eyeballs.
Strategy & Execution
By collaborating with authentic content creators and super fans to create NFL-oriented content, the NFL would be forward thinking in how they approach understanding fans to curate content to better reach and engage their existing and new audiences. As the partnership between Videocites and the NFL grows, Videocites technology will be leveraged to measure and boost video content performance and provide otherwise unattainable data to bring the brand, its fans, and creators closer together than ever before.
