ABOUT THIS ENTRY

The Jacksonville Jaguars proudly showcased local talents with special Game Day Posters featuring custom designs be artists from The Bold City. A limited number of every poster was made available in the Fan Entertainment Zone of EverBank Stadium on game days. Fans got the chance to grab their own copy, meet the artist, and get the posters signed. Each poster was a representation of the opponent matchup along with the theme or NFL initiative connected to that game.

For every home game this season, there was a new poster design revealed that was amplified on the Jaguars social channels and displayed for fans to enjoy on game day.

How does this represent “Excellence in Engagement”?

One of the biggest benchmarks for this campaign was to engage a new segment within our fan base. There is a thriving artist community in Jacksonville and over 60 local artists shared their interest. Once the campaign launched we saw even more engagement with that community in stadium and online. This was successful from the feedback we received from the artists and our fans; we plan to continue this initiative for future projects.

Objective

The objectives for this campaign were to amplify the work of local Jacksonville artists, create connections with the art community in Jacksonville, add a new and unique element to the game day experience and develop innovative social content.

Strategy & Execution

This program was launched in August when we put a call out to local artist to share their work and express why they are interested in participating. The idea was to create unique game specific creative that resonated with our fans as limited-edition posters that they could collect throughout the year.

Each poster artist was allowed to follow their own style and creativity to make posters that were each unique and different. After our call to artist was closed, artists were then selected based off their artwork and were paired with a graphic designer from the Jaguars that helped give them direction on their poster, share the game theme and work through the production of the posters.

Artists attended the game that they had created their poster for and had a table set up to sign, giveaway and take photos with fans prior to kickoff. Many fans worked to collect all posters.

RESERVE SEATS
