With a driven and infectiously-upbeat attitude, Bijan Robinson sets one of the best examples for young aspiring athletes. In efforts to pull back the curtain on the Atlanta Falcons running back, our in-house video production team, editorial staff, and team photographer all traveled to Austin, Texas to tell the story of Bijan Robinson: the person beneath the surface, the star player, and the brand and values he upholds.
How does this represent "Excellence in Engagement"?
Bijan Robinson: The Power of Example is a project that truly showcases the multi-faceted skills of the Atlanta Falcons' digital department and how they are able to tell athlete's stories in strategic and impactful ways. In efforts to reach outside the Atlanta market by targeting a fan-favorite player like Bijan Robinson who was a viral star in his rookie season, this video, article, app experience and photo gallery all created a catalyst in many ways to draw attention to the human being off the football field. Athlete storytelling is a huge asset for our team's content as a means to appeal to more than just Falcons fans. People from all over the world want to see Bijan Robinson play-- And his action on the field is just one small part of many things to admire about Bijan Robinson.
Objective
In 2023, the Atlanta Falcons used the No. 8 overall pick in the NFL Draft to select running back Bijan Robinson out of the University of Texas. In his first season, Robinson led all rookies with 976 rushing yards. He also scored a team-high eight touchdowns.Though Robinson's stardom skyrocketed even more with the jump from the NCAA to the NFL, the 22-year-old has remained true to himself as the spotlight grew brighter. Following a successful rookie season, it was important to our team to be able to showcase a young man that is so much more than the star athlete Falcons fans love to watch on Sundays.

In efforts to pull back the curtain on the Atlanta Falcons running back, our in-house video production team, editorial staff, and team photographer traveled to Austin, Texas to tell the story of Bijan Robinson: the person beneath the surface, the star player, and the brand and values he upholds.
The final results of this project touched several different mediums ranging from a feature article, bite-size social media content, long-form video, app experience, and a photo gallery.

- Produce quality long-form video content to build our audience on YouTube.
