How does this represent "Excellence in Engagement"?
The Broncos app excelled in fan engagement by keeping Broncos Country connected year-round. The Uniform Launch Experience exemplified how the app leveraged digital creativity to deliver a standout activation that captivated fans beyond gameday. By fostering collaboration and prioritizing UX innovation, the app successfully strengthened the Broncos' digital ecosystem. The app’s strategic approach enhanced fan loyalty, improved usability, and set a new benchmark for engagement. By continuously evolving to meet fan expectations, the Broncos app has solidified itself as an industry leader in digital experiences, demonstrating how a well-executed mobile strategy can drive deeper connections and long-term engagement.
Objective
In 2024, the Broncos app aimed to provide the best team app experience for Broncos Country by creating a more personalized and engaging platform. The focus was on enhancing the experience for season ticket members through ticketing segmentation, making it easier to manage tickets and access relevant content. The app also sought to amplify native content—videos, photos, and podcasts—through dedicated experiences that would drive engagement across multiple channels. Additionally, the app played a key role in improving the gameday experience for all fans, whether attending in person or watching from home. By streamlining access to real-time updates, team news, and stadium information, the Broncos app became a central hub for fans, ensuring they stayed connected throughout the season.
Strategy & Execution
To achieve these goals, the Broncos app focused on three key strategies. First, the app redefined the STM experience by introducing a simplified and segmented account screen, allowing users to personalize their interface, track favorite players, and save content. Second, the app created immersive digital activations for major NFL and team events, such as the Free Agency Tracker, Training Camp Guide, themed games and the interactive Uniform Closet launch, which showcased the team’s new uniforms. Finally, the app positioned itself as the go-to platform for gameday, providing real-time updates, push notifications, and interactive stadium guides to enhance both in-stadium and remote fan experiences.
