ABOUT THIS ENTRY

The primary objective of the our "Question of the Day" videos was to enhance fan engagement and create a strong sense of community among our audience. The goal was to provide entertaining and informative content that resonated with fans, fostered interactions, and ultimately increased the affinity for our players with fans across the world.

How does this represent "Excellence in Engagement"?

We accounted for more engagements and video views than the rest of the WNBA teams combined during the 2024 season, in a year in which the WNBA was named the fastest growing brand by Boardroom (the first time a sports league had ever been ranked No. 1). Our Question of the Day series gave fans an inside glimpse at one of the most popular teams in North America, including superstar Caitlin Clark.

Objective

The primary objective of the Indiana Fever's "Question of the Day" videos was to enhance fan engagement and create a strong sense of community among supporters.

The goal was to provide entertaining and informative content that resonated with fans, fostered interactions, and ultimately increased the team's online presence.

Strategy & Execution

We put together a comprehensive content plan for our Question of the Day series that included putting together a list of interesting, off-the-wall questions, identifying the times throughout the season to ask the questions to keep a regular posting cadence and the best times to post to elicit the most positive fan response. We knew the importance of keeping this vertical-style video to portray the rawness of the moments, that we’re bringing fans inside the locker room area as if they are part of the team.

We built trust with our players during training camp that these videos were fun/engaging that allowed us to have even more success with the series when the team returned from the Olympic Break for a second training camp period in August, and we were able to drive great results.
