Objective

This animation was part of our campaign to get Wizards Center Alex Sarr into the NBA All-Star game by encouraging fans to vote for him. It stood as a signature content piece in a larger Alex Sarr All-Star campaign, and it is perhaps the most unique and bold example of animation in social media this season.

Strategy & Execution

We wanted to give the voting fans something they’d never seen before that resonated beyond the highlights, grabbed viewer attention, and stood out in a crowded social media landscape. It draws on a familiar reference that most people understand and connect with in the brick person, giving it a unique ability to resonate with different generations of fans. It also delivers the message quickly and concisely in a way fans have probably never seen before.
