ABOUT THIS ENTRY

We partnered with US Figure Skating to create the visual identity for their Leave Your Mark campaign, which aimed to push their sport beyond the stereotypical notions of figure skating, and amplify and celebrate the stories of their individual athletes.

How does this represent "Excellence in Engagement"?

In today's sports and media landscape, brands that aren't normally seen as mainstream are able to pave their own paths to build brand awareness and grow new audiences. Our work with USFS and their Leave Your Mark campaign was a first step for them to pave their own path, push the sport to new heights, and be seen in a new light. 

Objective

The goal of this campaign was to both push figure skating beyond the stereotypical feminine notions towards the bold and bright sport that it is, and to amplify and celebrate the US Figure Skating individual athletes and their stories. 

Strategy & Execution

We wanted to make a statement by leveraging a bright and vibrant color palette that included colors beyond just red, white, and blue. With a wide spectrum of energetic hues and tones, a set of responsive logos and marks, and a figure skating-inspired visual toolkit, we were able to create a stunning visual identity to showcase the sport of figure skating and its unique individual athletes.
