LOVB Pro is designed to rival any of the top women’s professional leagues in the world, anchored by championship-caliber coaches and world-class staff. We are changing the narrative for women volleyball players in the US, by enabling these top players to play at the highest levels of competition - right here in their home country.
We created the Undeterred Series to document their experiences playing overseas and now what it means to return home, and the obstacles they've had to overcome to become the best.
Undeterred delves into the drive, determination, and heartbreak experienced both on and off the court on their journeys as professional athletes.
We built this series resonate with our core audience – the highly coveted Gen Z demo – to deliver a authentic, unadulterated look at the journeys of these athletes as they experience the highs and lows, and overcome the impossible on their path to pro.
How does this represent "Excellence in Engagement"?
With less name recognition than other leagues, LOVB has leveraged the Undeterred series to build an engaged audience from the ground up - giving fans an all new look at the lengths these incredible women will go in order to play the sport they love. This raw yet heartwarming look takes people who may not know these athletes and brings them in from the start; as they commit to their journey and start rooting for these athletes as fans for life.

Our reason for being is to change the narrative for so many women volleyball players in the US, by enabling these top players to play at the highest levels of competition - right here in their home country. Previously, they had to go abroad to compete at this level.
We created the Undeterred Series to document their experiences playing overseas and now what it means to return home, and the obstacles they have had to overcome to become the best.
Starting with the members of the Olympic gold and silver medal-winning women’s volleyball teams, Undeterred delves into the drive, determination, and heartbreak experienced both on and off the court on their journeys as professional athletes.
Because LOVB is the league with only youth-to-pro ecosystem, we built this series resonate with our core audience – the highly coveted Gen Z demo – to deliver a authentic, unadulterated look at the journeys of these athletes as they experience the highs and lows, and overcome the impossible on their path to pro.
Strategy & Execution
Undeterred gives fans access to superstars of the sport through a series of intimate conversations that provide raw, powerful looks into the mindsets and emotions of these women - the types of unfiltered conversations and deeper narratives that Gen Z audiences crave when they are consuming longer-form content.
Featuring stories including Olympic Medalist Jordyn Poulter's devastating knee injury and how she has spent two years to come back better and stronger, to Carli Lloyd's heartbreaking story of her Italian team giving her 24 hours to share her unexpected pregnancy before they did, to Lauren Carlini sharing her journey of not making the Olympic team and how you come to terms with what you do when your best isn’t good enough to Kelsey Cook’s duality of feeling privileged to play while alone and isolated in a foreign country, LOVB’s Undeterred series delves into the drive, determination, and heartbreak experienced both on and off the court as professional athletes.
It rips the mask off of these superhero athletes, showcasing through their own words how they have been able to navigate the challenges of real life and remain undeterred in their goal to be the best of the best.
